It has been an exciting year in 2024! We are truly grateful to our clients, partners and team members for such a phenomenal year in 2024 of growth and performance…together. NWI helped clients across industries achieve remarkable outcomes while refining our strategic offerings, including implementing the NWI Attract-Cultivate-Retain Process™. Together with you, we celebrate the new connections, new business relationships, new models, tools and results.
Implementing the NWI Attract-Cultivate-Retain Process™
A highlight of the year was fully launching and implementing the NWI Attract-Cultivate-Retain Process™, a framework designed to support businesses at every stage of the customer journey. This process has proven transformative for clients seeking a structured yet flexible approach to marketing and sales:
- Attract: Focused on drawing the right clients through targeted and impactful marketing efforts, this phase ensures businesses connect with their ideal customers.
- Cultivate: Once connections are made, this phase emphasizes relationship-building and strategies that convert prospects into loyal customers.
- Retain: The final stage helps businesses nurture and sustain these customers for long-term success and advocacy.
Clients who adopted this framework have seen measurable improvements in lead generation, conversion rates, and customer retention. By aligning marketing and sales strategies with customer needs, the NWI Attract-Cultivate-Retain Process™ is helping businesses achieve sustainable growth.

NWI’s 2024 Milestones
NWI’s success this year extended beyond client achievements, with several internal milestones that highlight the company’s growth and leadership:
- Thought leadership: We continued to share insights on best practices, modern frameworks, and actionable strategies for marketing and sales success. We revamped out blog to go deeper on these key topics to help contribute to the market and to our clients’ success.
- Analytics: Measure what matters! This year we went deeper and double clicked on the numbers, the engagement, the leads, conversion to keep CEOs, heads of marketing and sales on top of the metrics with custom dashboards aligned to business needs. The multi-channel efforts (Looping) are paying off in leads and customers for our clients.
- Applied the NWI Attract-Cultivate-Retain Process™ : We walked the talk and used our own system for our business. From Attracting new prospects, to Cultivating those relationships through ongoing discussions, and Retaining our customers and partners. This also gave us deeper insight to help apply the process so our customers could achieve the phenomenal results!
- Community engagement: Staying true to our values, NWI played an active role in supporting local businesses and fostering community-driven economic growth. We are so proud of these relationships in the community and mentoring. One example is that we continued with our relationship with UIC to work with the talented students on projects in the area of data and analytics for marketing and sales impact.
A Few Resources to Wrap Up the Year
As you reflect on your own business, I wanted to leave you with a few resources for further reading and value. These are a few of the key themes from the year which provide examples from the NWI Attract, Cultivate, and Retain Process™:
- Attract example: Marketing and sales alignment between teams has become a success driver and no longer optional. The core of NWI’s business has been at this intersection. We see companies with seamless alignment in messaging, goals, and metrics achieve faster growth and better ROI. Check out more in our article on attract.
- Cultivate example: Blending of in-person and digital marketing provides a true hybrid customer journey in converting prospects to clients. Hybrid events, personalized digital tools, and adaptable touchpoints are essential. Another example is a prospect call followed by an in-person tour at your facility. This is another strategy in the ‘cultivate’ step. Check out our article on cultivate.
- Retain example: Strategies to deepen customer relationships and build loyalty took center stage. As customer acquisition costs continued to rise, retaining existing customers has become even more critical for businesses. Check out our blog article on retain.
